Those all important questions from the BBC News features and analysis section answered...

Why are so many stretching their ear-lobes?

Because they're fucking morons.

Should swearing be against the law?

Err...

Why has it taken the BBC so long to notice people stretching their earlobes? I noticed a student wearing these things three years ago, and even then my first reaction was "not just in Brighton, then".

To go off slightly on a tangent, I'm equally surprised it's taken the media so long to notice that ketamine has become one of the most popular recreational drugs in the UK. Taking a horse tranquiliser and dropping into a k-hole isn't quite as glamorous as a drug called meow meow, it seems. I'm still waiting for the BBC piece incidentally on this new fangled thing called dubstep.
